Hi! We are Nick and Jessica Twining, the husband-and-wife team behind Twining Seasons Farm, a family-run flower farm nestled in the beautiful countryside of Friendsville, Pennsylvania.
Farming has been a shared dream of ours since childhood, and finding this land was truly a blessing. Our little white farmhouse sits just two miles down the road from Nick’s parents. We share our days with our adventurous daughter, Leta, and a lively flock of 18 chickens. Our basement might leak, but that hasn’t stopped us from starting our seedlings down there. More than anything, we believe in faith, family, and flowers. We grow in a way that respects the land, bringing you breathtaking blooms while nurturing the soil and pollinators that make it all possible. Turning this property into a flower farm is a wild and beautiful dream come true, and we are so excited to share it with you!
Nick grew up on a 2-acre farmstead, raising chickens, pigs, rabbits, and bees. He’s always been fascinated by mechanics and restoration projects, and if there’s a problem to solve, Nick is the guy to figure it out. He loves order, precision, and craftsmanship, whether he’s building farm structures, fine-tuning equipment, or whipping up a creative meal in the kitchen (yes, he’s also the family chef!).
Builds detailed models for fun
Loves ice skating—he even asked Jessica out through the drive-thru window of a coffee shop in 2004, inviting her on a first date to the rink!
Handles the infrastructure, farm maintenance, and behind-the-scenes magic that keeps everything running
Favorite flower: Sunflowers
Jessica grew up surrounded by cow pastures and hay fields, always drawn to the beauty of the natural world. Creativity runs through everything she does—whether it’s designing floral arrangements, baking homemade bread, crocheting, or crafting.
Before starting Twining Seasons Farm, she spent years volunteering at organic and urban vegetable farms, just for the joy of getting her hands in the soil. When she learned about the need for American-grown flowers, she couldn’t stop dreaming of growing stunning, sustainable blooms.
But more than farming, Jessica’s greatest joy is being a wife and a mom. She took a chance on that coffee-loving guy years ago and wouldn’t trade this adventure for anything—including the homeschooling journey she shares with their daughter.
✔️ Loves baking and paper crafts.
